Capital Campaign Surpasses $10 Million Milestone
BWL Headmaster Frank J. Carnabuci III has announced that the School has passed the ten million dollar benchmark for its first comprehensive Capital Campaign of fifteen million dollars. The Campaign, launched in October 2006, has already raised $10,091,169 from approximately 300 families. This Capital Program will continue until we reach the fifteen million dollar goal.

Philip S. Sassower, Chairman of The Board of Trustees, comments: “When we began to plan this, reaching the goal of ten million dollars was almost unimaginable. Yet here we are, with every confidence that this amazing milestone was truly in our reach, thanks to our generous supporters.”

Mr. Carnabuci also states: “BWL is experiencing the kind of momentum that provides incredible advancements in a short span of time. It’s exciting, and people want to be a part of this success.”

The money raised in the Campaign will be used to pay for Capital projects, completed in 2005, and also to support the new science initiative, including our Women In Science Education (WISE) lecture series, improvements in our science labs, and expansion of the curriculum in science.
